The Counseling Center of Maryland is excited to add a new DBT Skills Group for Young Adults to our lineup of DBT offerings.
Specifically tailored to ages 18 to 29, this group is designed to help young adults learn effective coping strategies, reduce self-sabotaging behaviors, and reach their goals during this difficult time. Group participants can expect to learn the following skills:
- Emotional Regulation
- Handling Distress
- Effectiveness of Interpersonal Skills
This group is led by Mary Carlough, MSW, LCSW-C. Mary has over 25 years of experience working with clients in individual and group settings. Her DBT Skills Group for Young Adults meets every Thursday at 3:00pm for 75 minutes, and we’re currently accepting new members!
