Kim Wiltshire specializes in treating adolescents and young adults ages 11-30. Through individual and group therapy, Kim works with clients on issues such as self-harm, depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, stress management, grief/loss, relationship concerns, self-esteem, LGBT issues, eating/body image issues, and life transitions.
Kim strives to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space for her clients to help them feel safe and understood. Kim helps clients gain personal insight through self-awareness and works collaboratively with individuals to find effective solutions. Her goal is to empower individuals to create happier and healthier lives through the therapeutic process.
Kim is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and previously worked as a school counselor for Montgomery County Public Schools. She completed her clinical internship at Kolmac Recovery Services working with individuals seeking treatment for addiction. Kim received her Bachelor’s degree in Family Science at the University of Maryland and her Master’s degree in School and Mental Health Counseling at McDaniel College.
