Couples Therapy, Individual Therapy, Relationships Therapy

If you’ve tried therapy before and left feeling like you were just talking, you’re not alone—and you’re exactly where you need to be. My clients are smart, self-aware, and motivated—but despite that, they find themselves stuck in old habits, emotional loops, or relationship patterns they can’t seem to break.

That’s where I come in — I am passionate about helping individuals and couples create lasting change by focusing on the “how” of healing—not just the “why.” Together, we’ll look at the behaviors, thoughts, and emotional habits keeping you stuck and build practical skills to help you move forward. I enjoy working with adults who want to feel more emotionally balanced, grounded, and connected—to themselves and the people they love.

When you’re feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, I can help you translate insight into action through practical, evidence-based tools. When working with couples, I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help partners move from conflict and disconnection toward understanding and trust. My goal is to help both people feel seen, heard, and equipped with the communication skills they need to sustain closeness—even during hard moments. Whether you’re dating, newly married, or years into your relationship, we’ll focus on strengthening your emotional bond and rediscovering what brought you together in the first place. In individual therapy, I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you find balance between acceptance and change.

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and direct. I bring humor and authenticity into the room while also offering structure and accountability. Clients often describe me as real, personable, and easy to talk to. I don’t believe therapy needs to be overly formal—it just needs to be authentic. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, or thoughts of self-harm, I provide a grounded, compassionate space where you can feel safe and challenged to grow.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent five years as a special education teacher, which shaped my belief in meeting people where they are—with patience, creativity, and compassion. I hold graduate degrees from Columbia University (MSW) and Johns Hopkins University (M.Ed.), and I’m also a NASM-certified personal trainer, integrating a holistic focus on both mind and body through mindfulness, movement, and self-compassion when appropriate.

If you’re looking for a therapist who’s both supportive and straightforward—someone who will help you build the skills to change your life, not just talk about it—I’d love to work with you.
