Jen Fields
Jen’s work is focused on helping people learn and implement evidence-based strategies to manage: anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, life transitions, trauma, stress management, recovery from abuse, work/life balance, and career development. She is a licensed Social Worker in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia and has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Her approach is warm, empathic, non-judgemental, and focused on helping clients identify and achieve their goals. She partners with clients to identify and address what has brought them to therapy, and uses proven interventions that are skill and strategy focused in order to achieve lasting and sustainable change.
Prior to joining CCG, Jen had a 15 year career in nonprofit and corporate leadership. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Drew University, a Master of Science in Social Work with a focus on Advanced Clinical Practice from Columbia University, and a Master of Public Health from George Washington University.
